Honey Birdette lingerie, founded by Elosie Monaghan, a Brisbane entrepreneur in 2006 and backed by a private investment company, BBRC, has 55 stores throughout Australia. They have now opened their first store outside of Australia in London. The Honey Birdette store in Convent Gardens was then followed by the opening of two more in Leeds Victoria Gate a Westfield White City areas.
The brand has plans to open ten more stores in the United Kingdom, which will include another one in Westfield Stratford, Leeds as well Newcastle and Liverpool. By the end next year their plans include opening 40 more stores in and around London by 2018.
They have now launched a dedicated United States e-commerce site. They initiated this e-Commerce site since they saw a 347% increase in online sales over a 12-month period. The new site will enhance the United States customers experience with the brand and they will offer free delivery on orders that are over $50.00. They are instituting an extended product range and easier returns if it is necessary.
The prices for their lingerie which is a premium label brand, are about £60 for their bras and £35 for the briefs or knickers as they are called in England.

The reception that they received in the Convent Gardens store was strong and they opened the stores in Leeds with the confidence that those stores would get the same enthusiastic reception
