Thor Halvorssen Continues his Journey

Thor Halvorssen is the current President of the Human Rights Foundation, a foundation that was founded to protect even the most basic rights of individuals and to promote freedom in even the most oppressive country. Thor Halvorssen grew up with human rights activist and had always known that he was to follow in a similar path. Not only were his parents human rights activists from different countries, but his grandparents also took part in the fight for human rights. Activism always had come second nature to Thor Halvorssen and became an important aspect of his career. Thor Halvorssen has always though himself to be a citizen of the world and has created a non-profit empire for human rights activism that has been created around this belief. As the President of a large organization that is located in New York City, Thor Halvorssen has been able to gain much attention as well as donations from both the private sector as well as from the public sector.

Thor Halvorssen has always believed that even the most basic right such as the freedom to speak or the freedom to practice a religion is necessary in every region around the world. As an activist, Thor Halvorssen has not only been beaten for sharing this belief, but he has been imprisoned and has received numerous death threats from oppressive nations. Thor Halvorssen has even traveled to some of the cruelest countries to make sure that his voice is heard and to give other individuals within the region a voice to use or to speak through.

Thor Halvorssen has not only dedicated his time and efforts to the fight for universal freedom, but has also dedicated his efforts to exposing corruption in even the most progressive countries. In recent news, Thor Halvorssen exposed pop singer, Nicki Minaj for her involvement with the oppressive country of Angola. Nicki Minaj not only agreed to perform for the militaristic regime in Angola, but also agreed to do so in exchange for $1 million. A simple belief that Mr. Halvorssen has is to not exchange goods and services for money within countries that are known to be cruel to their citizens.
