The company was founded independently in 2013, after Marlin Equity Partners acquired it from Nokia Siemens Networks. Over time, they also acquired Tellabs and Sycamore and merged them with Coriant, creating an even stronger company. They offer services to over 100 countries, working with financial institutions, research and education sectors, and even with government agencies.

The Top Management
For any company to succeed, its management must be the best. The current CEO and chair of the board of Coriant is Shaygan Kheradpir. He has 28 years of experience in the technology, telecommunications and financial world. Shaygan holds a PHD, masters and bachelor’s, all in engineering from Cornell University.
He begun at GTE Corporation and following their merger with another company, he was appointed Chief Information Officer at Verizon. He then joined Barclays as their Chief Operations and technology officer. After this, he became the CEO at Jupiter networks. Even before being appointed CEO at Coriant, he had been working closely with the Marilyn Equity Partners, focusing on telecom and technology investments.
Kheradpir was appointed to his current post on 28th September, 2013.
